3D Sound (If Supported)

You should only enable this option if your Sound Card Supports 3D Sound.

Volume Control is

Linear/Log is for when the volume doesn't change smoothly up/down.

Pan Control is

Linear/Log is for when the volume doesn't change smoothly up/down.

Talkative Units in Multiplayer

This turns extra unit message on\off for when your in multiplyer. If this setting is turned on, they will talk more often.

InGame Music From CD

This allows you to play music from your Battlezone II CD.

2D Audio Buffer Location

This sets the location of the 2D Audio Buffer.

3D Audio Buffer Location

This sets the location of the 3D Audio Buffer.

Music Volume

This sets the volume that music will be played while you are in the game.

Effects Volume

This sets the volume of various sound effects such as weapons, engine and ambient noises.

Voice Volume

This sets the volume of the voices of the various characters in the game. You should turn this louder if you have a hard time hearing instructions in the game.

User Engine Volume

This setting changes the engine sound volume of the units.

Shell Effects Volume

This sets the volume of shell effects.

3D Sound level

This sets the volume of the 3D Sound.

Total Sound Channels

This sets the number of total sounds channels that the program will try to play on your computer simultaneously. If you are encountering performance problems, you may want to reduce the number of total sound channels that the game is using. If you have a fast computer and want to maximize the audio of the game, set the number of sound channels to a higher number.

This sets the number of 3D sounds channels that the program will try to play on your computer simultaneously.
